I have few queries regarding new margin rules by SEBI in cash segment and would feel obliged if you could answer them.
1. Intraday:- Sell IndusInd bank lying in dmat account on 03.08.20 and want to buy same IndusInd bank on same day I.e. 03.08.20 by evening at lower price, is it possible to buy IndusInd again on intraday without putting new money to work.
2. Intraday:- Can I buy and sell same share say Bpcl on intraday basis like we did earlier or there will some different margin rules for this as well for buying and selling separately on intraday basis.
3. Delivery:- If I sell 100 IndusInd bank lying in dmat account on 03.08.20 and want to buy some other share say Reliance on same day / next day I.e. 03.08.20 / 04.08.20 against money to be received for my IndusInd sale, is it possible to buy Reliance without putting new money (I.e. can I buy Reliance against money to be received for IndusInd sale on T+2 day or 05.08.20 evening)
Hi
1 &2 do not pertain to my area of work hence maybe somebody else can help you there
On 3. Yes it will be possible as brokers will do early payin on T0 day itself.
Hello,
I hope this finds you in good health.
I’ve been following your emails and your products since some time now and have noted the transparency with which you operate.
Although, honestly, I don’t understand much about the kind of investment/trading that you do, I would like to start investing using your strategy not only to gain further knowledge about it but also to take advantage from it.
I’m already an investor since many years but have been always investing in traditional products (MF, PMS, AIFs, occasionally structured products, etc) so I’m generally aware of the risk/reward ratio that one has to choose as per their comfort.
I would be greatly obliged if you could let me know how to proceed and how to select what best suits my needs from your portfolio of products, or if there’s someone I can connect with for it, please indicate so.
Thanks
Kunal Nanavati.
