Transition to LIQUIDCASE

November 9, 2024 2 min read

Dear WeekendInvesting Users,

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the cash allocation within our absolute momentum strategies (Mi 30, Mi MT Allcap, Mi ST ATH, Mi ATH 2 & HNI Wealth Builder as on 08 Nov 2024). After careful evaluation, we have transitioned from Liquid Bees (offered by Nippon India) to Liquid Case, the newly listed ETF from Zerodha AMC, in our portfolios.

Here’s why we believe Liquid Case offers key advantages:

Simplicity & Unit Tracking:
Liquid Case simplifies the process by eliminating fractional units. If you hold 200 units of Liquid Case, you will own 200 complete units, making it easier to track and manage your holdings compared to the fractional structure of Liquid Bees.

Tax Structure:
Liquid Case is structured differently, with tax obligations applying only to the appreciation of its Net Asset Value (NAV). This contrasts with the dividend payments of Liquid Bees, which are taxed at the time of payout. The distinction in tax structure aligns Liquid Case with the needs of investors seeking a streamlined approach to managing taxes.

Liquidity
Liquid Case has demonstrated strong liquidity since its launch, with significant trading volumes observed. This strong market engagement highlights the positive reception of Liquid Case, making it a robust option for managing cash exposure within our strategies.

We believe that this transition to Liquid Case will simplify and streamline your experience.
