The Good Bad and Ugly Weekly product review report Oct 1 20204 min read

A good directionally upward week with a gap to start with and a gap day to end the short week ahead of the National holiday. Intraweek the move stalled but did not follow overseas cues and stayed long.

Nifty this week

Bank Nifty more volatile with a sharp dip on Wednesday morning and then a one way ride of near 1200 points in 2 sessions.

STAIRS our trading product was shining bright this week and gained handsomely 9% on capital.

The Options4STAIRS module of STAIRS did well this week.
Return on capital for weekly series ended 10/1/2020

OB Model ( for 3% risk per trade ) NF: +4.9% / BN : +3.05%
OS Model NF( For 10% RSF) : +1% / BN : + 1%

for CY 2020 to date the options4STAIRS results are

NF Buy Options Model CY2020
BN Buy Options Model CY2020

Both these models above track STAIRS signal in its direction and have defined risk per trade.

The other two models below that are more income generating in nature use option spreads AGAINST the direction of the STAIRS trend.

All these results are based on very conservative risk taken and can be improved dramatically with higher risk as well.

In the LIVE product strategies,  there is no cash and all strategies are doing well. The LIVE products area more suitable for large portfolios who are not chasing high returns and want more mature and diversified lower risk portfolios. Also the user here churns his portfolio at Fri 3 PM along with the model and there is no slip between the model the actual experience.

This week the everything was the GOOD, and there was no BAD and certainly NO UGLY.
I continue to believe in the asset allocation to Gold and urge everybody to build up-to half their age as percent net-worth in Gold this decade.

This week we also made a special announcement about a change in Business Practice at the advisory.
https://weekendinvesting.com/2020/09/30/change-in-business-practices-at-weekendinvesting-stairs2profits-effective-1st-oct-2020/
Simply put, we are now doing all actions as a RESEARCH house and not as an ADVISOR. All products are model portfolios and no risk assessment or profiling or customization of any kind will be undertaken.

That is all this week. STAY SAFE and stay in peace !

    Hi Alok,

Can i invest in gold bees ? Now i am 30 year old and how much percentage of my savings you recommand me to allocate for gold.

I saw there is difference in actual price of gold and gold bees prices ( minimun 10 rs difference per unit). is it normal ?

    Thanks in advance sir.

    Regards,
    Chandra
