What is our Service Assurance ?

THE SERVICE ASSURANCE PLAN STANDS SUSPENDED FROM SEPT 30 2020

The Weekendinvesting Service Assurance means that at end of your one year of subscription based product,  if the model portfolio is not up even 8% from the date of your inception including idle LiquidBees returns, then we will extend your subscription for subsequent periods free of charge till you achieve a 8% annualized returns from your start.

Please do not confuse this as a PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE.
We are not guaranteeing any performance. We are only saying that our interest should remain aligned with yours and we commit to service you till a logical point is achieved.

This assurance is unprecedented in the market and this shows our confidence on our models. This is provided since it is well established that negative return years are part and parcel of the investing regime and hence we do not wish that any subscriber not make even this basic level of return while being on subscription.

Looks good minimum guaranteed return. And it shows confidence also of the analyst in his product.

Hi Alok,

I was exploring your website for investments in stocks. I had few clarifications

1. Is Portfolio (say for example Mi25) recommended different for different subscribers?
If No, how returns will be more or less same for all. Then how does SG work here?

2. If subscribers themselves BUY and SELL, then how do you calculate the service fee of 1 or 2 %

.3 wrt to Mi-LRHR, once we donate Rs 12000 to Charity, is there any donation to be done based on the returns?

Hi, I’m a beginner investor and interested in subscribing to the Mi_ST_ATH smallcase with the minimum amount. However, I’m concerned about benefit of paying a 10k subscription fee on such a small investment. What if returns aren’t higher than 10k? Is there a service guarantee or a percentage based subscription fee available or is it advisable to invest higher amounts even though the minimum investment amount is about 24k.

Can you clarify if the service guarantee still exists or has been removed completely?

I ask this because on your homepage, where you have written about “Which is the RIGHT product for you”, for portfolios greater than 15L, you’ve linked to a PDF. In that pdf, you’ve mentioned “Annual Flat fee # PF<25L with 8% SG" (with a link to this page). But this page says SG is suspended.

All this is a little confusing. Can you please clarify.

Thanks for clarifying Alok.

I suggest you remove it so it doesn’t cause confusions.

Hi Alok,
1. The current scenario is similar to 2007 bull run…is it the right time to start investing using the small cases designed by weekendinvesting? If yes, what will be the case if we have a fall in the following years?

Note: until 2014 markets were sideways and were not successful to beat 2007 high…

2.Few of the Q&A under “HELP” are not very clear to me. Is there any toll free/customer care number to get my doubts clarified?

Regards,
Siva

Dear Alok,

I was searching for MI_ST_ATH small case but didn’t find it on the portal. Has this product being taken off the shelf ?
